It was this understanding that first ignited MXit Reach. This important division of MXit is aimed at improving the lives of its users by creating outreach programmes that make education and health information, counselling and services more accessible for millions.
MXit Reach understands that it is not a doctor or teacher. So the development of the right partnerships is critical to the team.
MXit Reach works with the Departments of Education and Energy, with Unicef, World Health Organisation, United Nations, Reconstructed Living Labs, Childline and a host of other organisations and departments to use its mobile social network to foster real and meaningful change in society.

- Mobile education. Use QuizMax, Calcit, Nokia MoMaths or Dr Maths on MXit Reach to learn Maths, Physical and Life Sciences in an environment that is fun, engaging and easy-to-use.
- Counselling. On all aspects of life, including abuse, drug and substance abuse, depression as well as debt counselling, and so forth.
- ‘Red’ counselling for HIV/Aids.
- Childline. For private counselling with trained, qualified Childline counsellors.
- DriveMax. For help and mobile tutorials to help you pass the K53 exams.
